Celebrating a truly remarkable milestone in Carthage!
Lois Swearengen turned 102 years young on March 29🎂 — and she still remembers her very first Coca‑Cola.❤ She was just six years old, standing in a drugstore when a shiny Coca‑Cola sign caught her eye. One sip… and she’s been a fan ever since, drinking a Coca-Cola every day!
Lois went on to build a beautiful family: four sons, eight grandchildren, eighteen great‑grandchildren, and five great‑great‑grandchildren. Through every chapter, she’s lived with an “it could always be worse” spirit that inspires everyone around her.
We’re honored to have spent time celebrating her story, her joy, and her century‑long love for Coca‑Cola. Thank you to the amazing staff at St. Luke`s Nursing and Rehabilitation!
Here’s to Lois — a living reminder of the moments, memories, and people that make the Ozarks special. 🥤❤️

April is National Volunteer Month!
Volunteering isn’t just about giving time. It’s about strengthening communities, lifting others up, and discovering the impact one person can have when they choose to show up. Every act of service — big or small — creates ripples that reach farther than we ever see.
This month, we`re celebrating the organizations and people in the Ozarks who give their energy, skills, and heart to help others. And if you’ve been thinking about getting involved, there’s no better moment to start. Your contribution could be exactly what someone needs.
Here’s to building a kinder, more connected world together! ❤
